Your piece ships in 5–7 days with the same color palette you ordered, but a pattern that's impossible to duplicate.
Preorder pieces are made to order in our York, PA studio. Pick your color combination and garment type, and Maria will hand ice-dye a fresh piece using the same color palette shown in the listing. Because every ice dye reacts differently, your piece will have the same colors but a completely unique pattern.
Ice dye works by mounding ice on top of fabric, sprinkling Procion MX powdered dye across the surface, and letting the ice melt slowly over 24 hours. The melting ice carries dye through the fibers in unpredictable paths, creating organic splits and color depth that flat dyeing simply cannot match. Your piece goes through multiple rinse cycles until the water runs clear, locking in permanent, machine-washable color.
