This Privacy Policy explains how Floorboard Findings Boutique (“Floorboard Findings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit floorboardfindings.com, place an order, create an account, join a mailing list, contact us, or otherwise use our store and services.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information as part of providing the storefront, checkout, payments, account, fraud-prevention, analytics, and related ecommerce services.

Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, account credentials, and communication preferences.
Order and transaction information: products viewed or purchased, order history, billing and shipping details, payment status, discounts, returns, replacements, and customer-service records. Payment card details are processed by Shopify and enabled payment providers rather than stored directly by Floorboard Findings.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages and products viewed, referring pages, searches, cart activity, and interactions with the site or advertisements.
Communications: information provided through contact forms, email, Shopify Inbox or messaging tools, social-media messages, reviews, and support requests.
Marketing information: email subscription status, campaign engagement, and advertising interactions.

shipping and delivery providers, including USPS and UPS, to purchase labels, calculate rates, provide tracking, and deliver orders;
analytics and advertising providers currently used on the storefront, including Google and Meta/Facebook;
communications and support providers used for email, store messaging, or customer service; and
government authorities, courts, professional advisers, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, the store, or customers.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define targeted-advertising disclosures through cookies or pixels as “sharing” or a “sale.” Where those laws apply, visitors may have the right to opt out of that activity.

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for essential storefront functions, security, account and cart features, analytics, marketing measurement, and advertising. The storefront currently loads Shopify services, Google tags, and a Meta/Facebook pixel. Payment options can also load services from Shop Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in an email. You can also contact us to update marketing preferences. Advertising choices may also be available through browser settings and the controls provided by Google and Meta.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising or disclosures. You may also have the right to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
