Skelly Trio Ice Dye Crewneck

The Skelly Trio design comes on a Gildan Heavy Blend crewneck sweatshirt or hoodie in fleece-lined 50/50 cotton-polyester. The classic unisex fit is true to size in Small through 3X, with sizing up suggested for a relaxed fit.

I prepare the folded blank with soda ash, lay mounded ice over it, and dust dry dye powder across the top. Through the roughly twenty-four-hour melt, pigment divides and follows the compressed fabric in irregular streams behind the Skelly Trio design, making each finished pattern different.

I hand dye the Skelly Trio background in York, Pennsylvania. Wash cold, inside out, then hang or tumble dry low.
