Geode Ice Dye Women’s Fine Jersey V-Neck Coverup Size S/M

This size S/M coverup is cut from ultra-soft fine jersey cotton with a V-neck and a lightweight, relaxed drape. Its geode ice-dye pattern runs through rich teal, golden amber, and violet, and it works as a beach coverup, an oversized tee dress, or a layer over leggings.

I fold the jersey, prepare it with soda ash, mound ice over the folds, and set the dry colors on top. Teal, amber, and violet travel at different rates as that ice melts, opening the crystal-like divisions the geode pattern is named for. The routes water takes through one bundle cannot be laid out a second time.

I hand dye this coverup in York, Pennsylvania. Wash cold, inside out, then hang or tumble dry low.
