Where did Floorboard Findings begin?
Floorboard Findings started in 2015 as a small Etsy shop, born out of Maria’s love for color and creativity. What began with handmade crystal jewelry has grown into a full boutique offering ice-dyed apparel, custom graphic tees, and Swarovski crystal jewelry — all handmade in York, Pennsylvania.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final due to the handmade, one-of-a-kind nature of our products. If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue and we’ll make it right.
What about lost or stolen packages?
We’ve got you covered. If your package is lost or stolen in transit, reach out to us and we’ll work with you to resolve it.
Are gift cards refundable?
Gift cards are non-refundable. They make a great gift for anyone who loves unique, handmade pieces!
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! We offer wholesale ice dye apparel, custom graphic tees, custom branded apparel, DTF transfer printing, and sublimation printing. Visit our wholesale page at floorboardfindings.com/wholesale for full details, or join our Facebook wholesale group for pricing and availability. Minimum orders start at 12 pieces.
What are your shipping times?
We ship daily. Please allow 5–7 days for all handmade items to be created and shipped. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay through Shopify. We also offer Sezzle for buy-now-pay-later options.
What brands and blanks do you use?
We use premium blanks including Comfort Colors, Bella Canvas, Gildan, and Rabbit Skins for our toddler and kids’ line. Quality blanks make all the difference in how your piece looks and feels.
How do preorders work?
Place your order online, and we’ll create your piece within 5–7 days. Preorder items are made using the exact color combinations shown, but because each piece is hand-dyed, the pattern will be uniquely yours — no two are identical.
How do I care for my tie-dye items?
Wash in cold water, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid bleach. The colors are set during our dyeing process and hold up beautifully with proper care.
How do I care for crystal jewelry?
To keep your jewelry sparkling, avoid contact with water, perfumes, and lotions. Store pieces in a dry, airtight container when not in use, and gently wipe with a soft cloth to maintain shine. With proper care, your handmade jewelry will stay vibrant and beautiful for years to come.
Can I request a custom order?
Absolutely! We love creating custom pieces. Email us at [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook to discuss your ideas. Custom orders may take additional processing time.
What is ice dyeing?
Ice dyeing is a technique where powdered fiber-reactive dye is sprinkled over ice placed on top of fabric. As the ice slowly melts, it carries the dye into the fabric, creating stunning watercolor-like patterns with organic color splits. No two pieces are ever the same — that’s what makes each one a true work of wearable art.
