Youth Ice Dye Tee

This is an undyed white youth blank, sold ready to dye rather than finished. It is a pullover with a hood and a front kangaroo pocket, offered in Small 6-8, Medium 10-12, Youth Large 14-16, and Youth Extra Large 18-20.

A hooded pullover gives a young dyer more to work with than a flat shirt. The hood, the pocket, and the ribbed cuffs each sit at a different thickness, so meltwater slows where the fabric doubles and runs where it is single. Color tends to pool along the pocket seam and lighten across the shoulders, and no two come out matching.

These blanks are stocked in my studio in York, Pennsylvania, and they are the same ones I dye myself. After dyeing and rinsing, wash cold and inside out, then hang or tumble dry low.
