Ombre Ice Dye Crewneck

This ice-dye ombré crewneck moves through black, gray, and purple on a Gildan Heavy Blend sweatshirt. The fleece-lined, classic unisex shape gives the graduated colorway a broad front and back to travel across.

I prepare and fold the crewneck, then put dry dye powder over mounded ice. The melt pulls the three shades down at uneven rates, so one section may hold a dark edge while another fades through gray into purple. That exact ombré cannot form again.
