This unisex ice-dye tank uses Caribbean blue and green across a sleeveless top. The cool palette has less fabric to travel through than a sweatshirt, which gives this tank its own scale of color movement.

I fold and soda-ash the tank, pile ice above it, then add dry dye and leave the melt to work for about twenty-four hours. Blue and green follow the narrow tank folds differently each time, so another one will not reproduce these marks.

I dye the Caribbean tank in York, Pennsylvania; wash it cold inside out and hang or tumble dry low.
