Halloween Ice Dye

Halloween pieces, ice-dyed by hand in York, Pennsylvania. Halloweentown is Maria's October colorway: deep purple and burnt orange running through slate gray and black, on a fleece-lined crewneck or hoodie.

The rest of the collection pairs a spooky design with a hand-dyed background: Hocus Pocus Apothecary, Easy Bake Coven, Spooky Books, Skelly Trio, Fresh Boo'd Coffee, Caffeine to Focus and Brewing Company. Each sweatshirt is folded, soaked in soda ash, covered with ice and dry dye powder, and left for about 24 hours while the melt carries color through the folds. The background behind every design comes out different, so your piece will share the palette but not the exact pattern.
